SAFE FASHION project #безсекундижиття of ROUSSIN continues to reduce the number of accidents involving pedestrians
The ROUSSIN brand, with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, continues to implement the SAFE FASHION project – #безсекундижиття in the regions of Ukraine. This year the team produced 2,500 reflective backpacks and provided them for free for children of secondary school age in the city of Pavlograd, Dnipro region.
The main goal of the fashion initiative, which was first implemented in the native town of the brand – Smila, is to improve road safety and reduce the number of accidents involving pedestrians. In addition, the project affects the educational process and the upbringing of a conscious attitude towards their safety in children.
“We will always promote responsible and safe fashion that reflects and responds to existing problems in society. Our project is an opportunity to change the stereotypical view of reflective clothing and the culture of consumption of reflectors. Indeed, in the dark or in poor visibility conditions, clothes with reflective elements become noticeable at a distance of 100-130 meters, thus reducing the risk of an accident involving pedestrians by 6.5 times! ”, – says designer Sofiia Rusynovych.
In addition, in September 2021 in Pavlograd, the ROUSSIN brand conducted educational work and presented its own educational film, in which motor sportsmen test the visibility of ordinary and reflective clothing on the roads and demonstrate emergency braking options.
SAFE FASHION – #безсекундижиття, combining the needs of the cultural and social spheres, is an innovative project and is implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

Now the fashion initiative of the ROUSSIN brand remains for other cities of Ukraine an example of improving road safety, and also contributes to the formation and development of a responsible, social and safe direction in the field of fashion in Ukraine.
