ROUSSIN Fashion-project: “Garbage is an inexhaustible valuable resource of the future!”
ROUSSIN presents a new fashion-project “Garbage – an inexhaustible valuable resource of the future”, in which it focuses on the role of waste in the life of mankind. Following the rule of three R: reduce, reuse, recycle, the brand continues to influence the interpretation of contemporary fashion and its sustainable manifestations.
In the new survey, the ROUSSIN team is changing attitude towards waste. Thanks to technologies, unnecessary, at first glance, constantly renewed mass turns into raw materials for production, and with the help of design solutions it becomes an art object.
Thus, the Polygreen recycling plant, which is one of the largest polyethylene processing plants in Ukraine [800 tons per month] and is part of the Biosphere corporation, has become a location for the game of perception: the models identified themselves with the workforce and joined the polyethylene processing process. Correlation of images is a symbolic response to the profession of the future and the value of a person who is engaged in the restoration of the planet.

ROUSSINs sustainable fashion is an innovative approach to the use of resources. The items in the collection are created from reflective pieces, that left after cutting main items, and production residues for disposal. The brand revives the defective fabrics with the author’s painting, transforming the canvas into a unique picture in the form of unusual looks and original accessories.
